Training
GBSC’s personnel are our greatest asset. We are proactive in providing training solutions to further enhance and develop each employee’s skill base to be better equipped to provide a continuously improving service to clients. We are the 2011 Master Builders Employer/Trainer of the Year Award winners.
Apprentices
GBSC is a well-known trade training company with a commitment to training apprentices in the carpentry, cabinet and joinery trades. This initiative has been recognised by industry bodies with GBSC being awarded the Master Builders Association’s Building Excellence Award for Employer of the year in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011. Our commitment to continually challenging ourselves and our apprentices has been realised with GBSC apprentices taking out the Mid-West Master Builders Association Award for Apprentice of the Year in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
Youth
At GBSC our vision is to build a dynamic, diverse and culturally aware workforce into the future. Throughout the year we offer selected work placemenst to many young people to give them an insight into the industry, this includes students on school work experience and youth from the Clontarf Foundation www.clontarffootball.com/
