About Us

Geraldton Building Services and Cabinets (GBSC) was formed in September 2001 when the Directors bought the cabinet and joinery assets of Geraldton Building Company. Commencing with 13 employees, GBSC has now grown to a workforce in excess of 100 qualified and registered builders, tradespeople, apprentices and support staff while diversifying to fulfil commercial maintenance and construction contracts.

Vision and values

A blend of experience, tempered by the youth of our apprentices, and the sense of pride in our work has formed the key values of GBSC:

• Experienced personnel in commercial construction, mining and residential maintenance
• Experienced personnel in concrete and civil works
• Sound experience and knowledge in working in remote locations
• Diversity of skilled tradespeople covering all aspects of building services including the quality manufacture of cabinets and joinery
• Strong relationships with resource companies and other commercial companies

Peter Fleay, Managing Director

Peter Fleay is GBSC’s Managing Director. Well known for his leadership qualities, forward thinking concepts and commitment to developing tomorrows apprentices within in the building industry. Peter has over 23 years’ experience in all facets of the building and construction industry and has lead the GBSC team since inception in 2001.
